Meet the Chef Amy Knobler has been an avid cook her whole life. For 12 years, she worked as an event planner and marketing professional for organizations including Rutgers University, Dick Clark Productions and the American Film Institute. She loved planning the catering for the events, especially consulting with chefs to design menus and create exciting culinary presentations. So Amy decided to turn her passion for cooking into her profession. After graduating from the Culinary Business Academy, she launched Get Out of the Kitchen Personal Chef Service. Amy takes pride in providing fresh, healthy cuisine to help her clients lead happier, more productive lives. Amy is a Premier Member of the United States Personal Chef Association and is ServSafe Certified in safe food handling. When she's not cooking, she can usually be found reading cookbooks, watching the Food Network and dreaming about new recipe creations. Amy lives in Pasadena, California with her husband John.
